Koningen is an Australian artist now based in northern Europe in the beautiful medieval town of Bruges, Belgium.
His abstract paintings range from small works on paper to large daring colourful textured works on canvas.
Inspiration for Koningen is abstract, with his immediate urban experiences, stark landscapes and music all being the key to the artist’s creation of works on various mediums. Works evolve and flow, and become a series of paintings such as the Wilderness Series and the abstract art series, Street-Scenes.
