Establishing the Koningen Studio in the inner west of Melbourne is now fully completed. With this in mind we are proud to be part of the Due West: Immersive Arts Festival. We invite art lovers, students and general public to visit the open studio during the festival to get a true insight of a the life of a working full-time artist. Svein will talk about his creative process, from the blank canvas, choosing the colours, theme and one of the most important aspects of abstraction – when is the creative process of a painting finished.
The Festival runs from 10 – 27 August and asks participants to immerse themselves in the spirit and arts-culture of the west. A showcase of works from local artists, organisations and venues across multi-disciplinary art forms, Due West presents immersive arts experiences which allow participants to interact, engage and participate.
